IHMCo is owned and managed by Ieuan Dolby, MSCMS, MIMarEST, CENG.

Ieuan is a chartered engineer and a former Chief Engineer and Technical Superintendent. He also has over 15 years of high-level consultancy experience in groundings, collisions, fires, and hull and machinery (H&M) disputes. He has frequently attended incidents on a first-on-scene basis, particularly while based in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Now working independently in the UK, he is dedicated to providing specialist marine consultancy services and expert advice to maritime lawyers and claims professionals.

IHMCo has recently delivered expert opinions across a wide range of matters, including on damages to or caused by shipboard cranes and grabs, hull damage, groundings, main engine bearing failures, fuel contamination, fire and flooding incidents, as well as cargo damage involving both bulk and general cargo.
